Jimi Hendrix
When Allan Tannenbaum started taking photographs in the mid 1960s, the ballroom
concert scene in San Francisco was just starting. For only $3.00, you
could see and hear three or four top rock and roll bands. One of the
first concerts he photographed was by the Jimi Hendrix Experience at Winterland in 1968. Here
are some of those photos.
