John Lennon and Yoko Ono
Photographer Allan Tannenbaum was working at the SoHo Weekly News when he photographed John Lennon. The first time was at the taping of a TV show, "A tribute to Sir Lew Grade" in 1975. The next times were in the fall of 1980, just when Lennon and Yoko Ono came out with their new album, "Double Fantasy." Ten days after their last photo session with Tannenbaum, Lennon was shot dead by a crazed fan.
