John & Yoko Dakota & Park
On November 21, 1980, a day after Yoko Ono visited his studio for a
cover shoot, Mr. Tannenbaum went to the Dakota for an informal photo
session with her. While waiting in her office in Studio One, John
Lennon came in, and he remembered Mr. Tannenbaum from the 1975
performance taping. They then went out together to walk in Central
Park, and on the way back they stopped in front of the Dakota. When they
returned to Studio One, Mr. Tannenbaum did a few more photographs of
John autographing "Double Fantasy" albums.
